I haven’t thought deeply about girlfriends in the past. Might as well start now.
To a Christian, they are kind of useless. I say “kind of”, because to a specific sub-group of Christians, girlfriends have one use, which is making out, or maybe more than that if you play the “freedom in Christ” card, which, when you think about it, actually makes more sense for justifying blowjobs in marriage than subverting God’s commandments about adultery. Hehe.
But to every other kind of Christian, girlfriends are useless. What can you do with a girlfriend that you can’t do with anyone else? Not much.
Sex is not an option. Making out is not an option. I’m even skeptical of milder forms of physical affection. Once you start, it’s hard to stop. Actually, a funnier way of putting this might be: once you start, it’s hard.
